yah yah yah I know,,,

I know I haven't updated in a loooonnng time but hey what can I say except that life is crazy.

Important stuff

Schools out
Both kids passed
Taryn's grades are boring AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Zack is working on boring if only he had a speed control we would be set

And I hate my job - I know Big Surprise there -

I actually thought I hated my job before if you had asked me this time last year I probably would have told you it couldn't get worse. ha Never say never, when you think they do something bad there is a good chance that it can get worse

So in May they moved us to downtown LA and as any one who has visited any major downtown it may be fun to visit but you wouldn't want to have to go there every day.
They gave us bus passes and told us to figure it out on our own. Once I got used to that I thought things would settle

No so

Then they told me I couldn't dye my hair boldly anymore ( I guess pink doesn't fit there idea of the corporate look - hey I had it green and blue last chistmas and they didn't complain oh well guess I am stuck with blond for now )

But it still hasn't stopped then they told us no eating at our desks, not that they are really giving us a good place to eat that is big enough for everyone but thats our problem

And now this week they told us that starting August 1 they will be limiting our flex time cause they can not trust us to actually work unless there is a manager there to babysit us - aaaarrrrrggh !!! What are we 9

Oh Well this is actually bitting them in the butt and they are just to stupid to figure it out yet, Can we say lower productivity, more breaks and longer breaks

See I have this problem. The computer at work is blocked from me writing in my blog there. Hmmm I wonder why ? And as with a lot of people who are on the computer all day at work it just isn't my first thought as to what to do when I get home. Add to that my new P.C. has started to not let us get on to anythng google related so that leaves me with thw Mac in my room to blog on. Now here is where the problem comes in. Most of the times i have written on my blog from the Mac it for some unknown reason will not post what I have done. So here I am crossing my fingers that this will post so that I can post something more interesting later. Cause I hate it when I type it all in then it won't post and i lose everything I did.

Snow

I know what does snow have to do with anything I live in Sunny Southern California ?

But this weekend the fam and I will be surrounded by it. A friend from work has a vacation home up in Big Bear that we will be heading to first thing Saturday morning. There will be sledding, and snow men and we are taking the dog so that should be fun to watch too. I still don't like the cold so there will also be fires and hot cocoa and snuggling under blankets. We are only going for the long weekend but it should be a blast. I had to borrow chains for my tires and find gloves and boots and ice scrapers and I won a sled at my holiday Christmas party. I will attach pictures and tell you more about it when we get back Monday afternoon.

Are we there yet ?

This week I feel like I am spending all of my time in the car, Between going to and from work and picking the kids up and taking them to, Boy scouts, soccer, and Girl scouts we haven't had a free night yet this week. I am sooo looking forward to going home tonight and just vegging in front of the tube. The funny thing is that we have Boy scouts twice a month and Girl Scouts twice a month but lucky me they always land on the same weeks. And then last night we started Soccer again for Zack so that is twice a week practice and then a game each week I better get used to spending time in the car. But I am glad to have the kids involved in things and Zack really does like Soccer so I can not complain. Zack will be learning Spanish as a bonus at soccer his coach doesn't speak English very well and since most of the team is Hispanic he doesn't try to hard to translate. Nos encanta el fútbol. I guess we will just have to bring the English Spanish dictionary with us.

quick update

Quick while my computer program at work that blocks this sit is down I just wanted to post a quick hello to all and tell everyone that we are all doing well here in California. The economy suck as it does everywhere but so far we are weathering it ok. Sorry Taryn your braces will have to wait a little while longer. But otherwise the kids are doing well in school and work is ok for me. My office will be moving in April to downtown Los Angeles which I am so not happy about but oh well what can you do especially when the want adds are a colum in the paper instead of a section.
